About Us
Forthcoming Events
Café Scientifique is a free and open forum for debating science and technology issues, not a shop window for science. We are committed to promoting public engagement with science and technology and making it accountable.

The meetings are normally held on the second Wednesday of the month, where everyone, over a cup of coffee or tea and biscuits (all free) can chat about any scientific issue in a friendly and informal setting.

The only qualification needed to join in is an interest in anything scientific.  At every meeting there is a talk by a leading scientist or engineer.

Here at the Medway Café Scientifique, we have our own on-line discussion forum for all to contribute to the meetings pre and post event.

Interested?  Why not take a look at our events calendar for forthcoming events.  To help fund this website we have our own book shop where science, technology and engineering books can be purchased online.

Welcome to Medway Café Scientifique
