Peter Cook

Peter started life as a chemist and has a master’s degree in business.  Now, with over 25 years business, academic and consultancy experience: leading pharmaceutical innovation and international troubleshooting; tutoring and writing MBA programmes, and writing and performing music, Peter Cook leads Human Dynamics, a consultancy that mixes business and management ideas with the arts, especially music.

‘Music is a great metaphor for business, whether it is formal classical, improvisational jazz or Rock’n’Roll, which balances structure with improvisation’ Peter explains.

Peter is author of ‘Best Practice Creativity’ and ‘Sex, Leadership and Rock’n’Roll’.  He has taken his ideas into large businesses, academia and, in a voluntary capacity, into Education, bringing back creativity into the classroom.  His work has featured on BBC One, Teachers TV and Radio 4.  His clients include Unilever, FujiFilmSericol, Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson. London Business School, The Open University and Marley Extrusions.

You can preview Peter's work at www.academy-of-rock.co.uk and www.humdyn.co.uk
